The Spirit of Run Jericho
In 2011, parents at St Barnabas Primary School started the first Run Jericho, to raise money for the school and foster links with the local community. Over a decade later, Run Jericho is still going strong!
The races loop around beautiful North Oxford, taking in the streets of Jericho, Worcester College grounds, Oxford canal, Port Meadow and Burgess Field.
The spirit of Run Jericho lies in its inclusivity, dedication to healthy living and its mission to bring the community together all while raising funds for St Barnabas Primary School to enhance the pupils' educational experience.

Our Classic, Multi-Terrain 10K Run
Our 10K run goes through picturesque surroundings in North Oxford; starting and finishing at St Barnabas Primary School, it takes runners through Jericho, Worcester College grounds, along the Oxford canal, looping around Port Meadow passing Wolvercote and back down through Burgess Field (roads will be partially closed).
Suitable for age 15+
Entry Fee: £25
(£23 for club runners affiliated with England Athletics)

Our 5K Multi-Terrain Run
Our 5k multi-terrain race takes you round scenic routes through North Oxford starting and finishing at St Barnabas Primary School. Runners start in Jericho and continue along the Oxford canal and up to Port Meadow, down the canal back to the finishing line at the school in Jericho.
Suitable for age 12+ and secondary school children aged 11+
(If your birthday falls between 9th June 2013 and 31st August 2013, please contact us to register for the 5K run, limitations in our online entry system may prevent registration)
Entry Fee: £15
(£13 for club runners affiliated with England Athletics)

Our Ever-Popular 1-Mile Children's Fun Run
A favourite with volunteers, parents and of course the children, our fun run starts and finishes at St Barnabas Primary School, taking the young runners around Jericho and through the beautiful Worcester College on fully closed roads.
For primary school children 4 to 11 years old, Reception to Year 6
(Nursery children who will be 4 years old on race date may also participate)

Volunteer and Help us Keep Making Run Jericho a Success!
Run Jericho is a fundraising charity event, created and organised entirely by the St Barnabas Primary School PTA and volunteers, and we always need willing helpers. Whether you can spare 30 minutes before the event marking out the course, spend the morning as a marshal pointing runners in the right direction, or handing out water to tired runners when they return to St Barnabas … every little bit helps!
